The DP83822HRHBR, produced by Texas Instruments, is a highly robust 10/100 Mbps PHY (Physical Layer Device) designed to meet the demands of various industrial applications. On the interface side, the DP83822HRHBR supports multiple MAC (Media Access Control) interfaces, including RGMII, RMII, and MII. It is compliant with IEEE 802.3u, supporting 100BASE-FX, 100BASE-TX, and 10BASE-Te. The device also offers flexible supply options with low power single supply options and available I/O voltages of 3.3V, 2.5V, and 1.8V. Power-saving features such as Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) IEEE 802.3az and WoL (Wake-on-LAN) support with magic packet detection are included, along with programmable energy savings modes. Other notable features include start of frame detect for IEEE 1588 time stamp and various diagnostic tools such as cable diagnostics, BIST (Built-in self-test), loopback, and rapid link-down detection.
